These License Terms apply between


Marcus Tichelaar (“Licensor”)
and

They define how the purchased photos and/or videos may be used.

1. What This License Covers

You are purchasing the right to use copyrighted photos and/or videos for marketing, communication, and presentation purposes — including websites, social media, print materials, and other approved uses described below.

Ownership of the content remains with the Licensor. This license grants usage rights only.

2. General Usage Rights

With every license, you may:

  • Use the media on your website(s)

  • Make the media publicly available online, in full or in part

Additional rights depend on whether you purchase a Standard License or an Extended License.

3. Standard License

The Standard License includes:

  • Delivery of photos/videos in the highest available resolution
    (Photos are typically delivered as JPEG files.)

  • Unlimited duration — no expiration date

  • Not limited to a single project

Allowed Uses

Print (up to 3,000 copies total):
Flyers, brochures, magazines, packaging, and other printed materials.

Websites:
Unlimited use on websites.

Social Media:
Unlimited use on social media platforms. No view limits.

Email Marketing:
Use in newsletters and email campaigns is allowed.

Presentations:
Use in internal or external presentations is allowed.

Apps & Software:
Use in apps, software, or in-app advertising is allowed.

4. Extended License

The Extended License includes everything in the Standard License, plus:

  • Full, unlimited usage rights

  • No project or time restrictions

Additional Allowed Uses

Print:
Unlimited print runs (including flyers, magazines, packaging, etc.).

Web & Social Media:
Unlimited views and reach.

Video, TV & Film:
Use in videos, TV broadcasts, and films is allowed.

Products for Sale (Merchandise):
The media may be a main visual element on products intended for resale
(e.g. T-shirts, posters, photo prints, postcards).

5. Credit / Attribution

  • Photographer credit is appreciated but not required
    (except for editorial use).

  • Recommended credit format:
    Photo / Marcus Tichelaar / 2026

  • For editorial use (online or print), attribution next to the image is mandatory.

6. Privacy-Safe Content

If people are shown in customer or business contexts, suitable models may be used to ensure privacy and legal compliance.

7. Payment Terms

  • License fees depend on the selected license type

  • Payment is due before the media is published

  • Invoices must be paid within 3 business days

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT (where applicable)

8. Legal Notes

  • The Licensor confirms that he owns the rights to license the media

  • This agreement is governed by German law

  • Place of jurisdiction (for business customers only):
